A few days ago, Dad came in from the freezing cold. He had the smell of smoke all over him! No, no. I know what you're thinking. He did not go outside for a puff on a cigarrette. (JUST KIDDING!)He went out for the sake of love. Well, in a round-about way. He went outside to make a Christmas present. Well, a Christmas present doesn't usually smell smokey...right? Well, that's usually. On that particular day, the present did smell smokey. He was out in the freezing cold (literally freezing {-5}) for my mom....well, not so much for my mom but so that my mom wouldn't have to run to the store to buy something in that freezing cold. Well, what is this infamously smokey smelling gift? Well, i know i've been keeping you on the edge of your seats....let's see if I can drag it out anymore.........Well, it was my dad's notoriously scrumptious, delectable, and genuinely good-tasting smoked salmon. Yes, ladies and gents, it was. If any of you have ever had the pleasure of eating it, you'd know what I mean. In the end, my mom sadly had to go to the store anyway to find something to go with the smoked salmon but we all enjoyed taste testing it. :)

ooh, such a tease, just a taste test?! sadness! :o) Dad can make the best bread this side of the mississippi but doesnt usually have time to make it and when he does, often it's for work. So then, for hours we smell it as it rises and bakes, and it's finally done and looks beautiful, and he wisks it off to work with him!! :o)
oh I bet that that was yummy!!!! hmmm I think that I better drive on over! :P
